This kitchen was designed to be highly efficient and to delight the client with colors she loves.

Recycled glass tiles at the backsplash over the counter give richness and color. The existing concrete floor is stained in turquoises and sealed, creating an unusual and striking look while saving the cost and material of added flooring and waterproofing that would have been required otherwise. The owners collect antiques, some of which were incorporated into the otherwise modern kitchen design: a Kitchen Maid Hoosier cabinet, and soda fountain chairs and table.
